Unfortunately few details are held in archive of touring from theatre in the round in Scarborough prior to 1996, as a result the early touring details may not be complete or need further clarification.This period included a number of significant events with, arguably, the peak of touring to this day with ambitious tours around Canada (1987) and an extensive European tour which culminated in venues in Egypt (1988). This period also saw the links forged with The Old Laundry Theatre, Bowness-on-Winderemere, which opened with a tour of Alan Ayckbourn's Time & Time Again (1992).
