Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round: In The Round Festival ('77 - '87)

The In The Round Festival, first staged from 1960 - 1968 (see here), was revived by Alan Ayckbourn - probably with the encouragement of Ken Boden - in 1977 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre In The Round. Alan himself adjudicated the first several festivals which attracted entrants from throughout the Yorkshire region.

Sadly, even less details of the revived In The Round Festivals are held in archive than for the Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre years, but what details that survive are reproduced below.
